here’s what i tried to do last night: a lot of things.  here’s what i did last night:  built my lamp.

i added it to my to-do list just so i could give myself a sticker.  (i can do that because i’m a grownup!)

here’s the lamp:

in case you can’t tell, the lampshade is purple velour.  FYI, i (unironically) love it.  

in case you CAN tell, the lamp in front of a zebra-print curtain.  don’t worry, my house isn’t pimp-themed; the curtains are temporary.

…okay confession: i’m using my old SHOWER CURTAIN in my livingroom right now.  good thing i just started documenting my figurative move into grownup-hood… shower-curtain-as-livingroom-curtain is SO COLLEGE.  i’ve got a long way to go.
